2ANNAS in Tallinn
2ANNAS is carrying out almost a scientific research of short film format, paying special attention to infinite interpretations of form and expression in a world-wide context. Programme ‘11/12 cool’ is giving a glimpse to the most original, expressive and talked-about must-see pieces of 2011 and 2012 festivals. A wide range of genres is presented - starting from a traditional narrative short film to absolutely experimental films and comedies. These films have arose laughter, tears, breath catching and... bravely, programmers have included a film which caused protests in the middle of it. The cherry on the top of the programme is a fresh piece from Latvians: ‘Fake me a happy New Year’ by the young director Liene Linde.
