2ANNAS 2013 competition programmes
International Competition is open to
contributions by filmmakers of all age groups and nationalities, produced by professional individuals, international film schools, film studios, etc.
Baltic Competition presents the works by Baltic
directors, showing the newest tendencies and the development of Baltic short film
and video production with the aim to enhance the exchange of ideas and experience
among the Baltic filmmakers.
2ANNAS 2013 will take place in Riga by the end of October

The winner of International Competition 2013 will receive prize and "Golden Anna" Statuette from festival's sponsors

Submission
Any filmmaker, producer, organization or other party can submit films to the festival. There is no entry fee. To enter a film, please follow the guidelines:
- Fill the entry form online and submit it through festival’s web-page;
- Information will be registered in festival’s data base. You will receive a filled entry form in print format to the e-mail address you have provided;
- Print the completed form, sign it and send it along with a preview copy (DVD) of the film to the address below:

Remember to mark all dispatches: "For cultural purposes only, no commercial value."
Please
note: the preview copies will not be returned.
Please prepare the following material before filling in the entry form:
1) Synopsis of the film in English;
2) A complete list of dialogue if available [if the film is in English or
Latvian];
3) English subtitles [if the film is in another language than English or
Latvian];
4) At least 1 photo from the film [jpg].
Entry Requirements
Admitted are all films and videos of all genres not exceeding a length of 30 minutes. Since 2013 festival excepts s3D films. In exceptional cases festival reserves the right to accept films of
longer duration. All films must be produced in the time period of the last two years [2012-2013]. Required format for preview copy is DVD (we accept both PAL and NTSC, all regions).
One film can be submitted to one prior competition. The selection committee reserves the right to select film in another competition programme [in this case festival will inform the person submitting the film]. You can submit more than one film to all of the competition programs.
Selection
The festival selection committee will confirm the films for International and Baltic Competition from
all entered contributions in August 2013 and will contact the applicants in order to request the screening copy to the festival until September 30th 2013. The required format for screening copies are: BETACAM, DV, DVCAM or BLU-RAY.
In the begining of October 2013 please visit www.2annas.lv, where the list of all films selected for the competitions will be posted online. The winners will be announced on the festival’s website and contacted by e-mail shortly after the festival.
