Competition section accepts short films of all genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental, video art, S3D, etc.) that are not longer than 30 minutes and not older than 2 years. 2ANNAS considers short films as an independent genre which reveals the newest trends.

Stuck in a limbo between life and death, Nathan Rijckx, a deceased World War I soldier has to collect shadows to regain a second chance at life and love. With two shadows left to collect, he discovers something that shakes his world completely.

Inspired by her best friend’s impossible desire to have a child with another woman, Maria is plotting to help homosexual couples whilst also implementing revenge on the bourgeois class. A short animation film that uses the techniques of Brecht’s epic theatre, communicating a political message through comedy and shock.
