The 2ANNAS Festival presents 2 international competition programs:

International Competition
Baltic Competition
Green Anna Film Programme

International Competition – open to contributions by filmmakers of all nationalities, produced by individuals, international film schools, film studios and production groups from all around the world (including the Baltic countries). Admitted are all films and videos of all genres not exceeding a length of 30 minutes and produced within the last 2 years (directors aged 20-35). Films which have been shown or awarded at other international film festivals are allowed to compete.
Board of jury selects works for International Competition that meets following technical and artistic criteria: the films should be technically advanced and artistically well executed with an original idea, story and details.

Baltic Competition – presents works by Baltic directors, showing the newest tendencies and development of Baltic short film and video production with the aim to promote the exchange of ideas and experience among young Baltic filmmakers. Admitted are all films and videos of all genres not exceeding a length of 30 minutes and produced within the last 2 years (directors age 20-35). Films which have been shown or awarded at other international film festivals are allowed to compete.
Board of jury selects works for Baltic Competition that meets primarily artistic criteria: Baltic shorts should have an artistically well executed original idea. Few errors in technical execution will be forgiven.

Green Anna Film Programme – starting with year 2009 Green Anna Film Programme(director's age until 19) is open only for Latvian submissions. Admitted are all films and videos of all genres not exceeding a length of 30 minutes and produced within the last 2 years.
