Competition section accepts short films of all genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental, video art, S3D, etc.) that are not longer than 30 minutes and not older than 2 years. 2ANNAS considers short films as an independent genre which reveals the newest trends.

Rise Above follows a guy and his girlfriend’s mother as they make an ascent of Saraoreum, a volcanic mountain with a lake at the summit. Two people meet for the first time in strangely uncomfortable circumstances that become clearer during their ascent.
